You may remember my news announcement about Catherine Kaputa’s “U R a Brand!” presentation at the Washington Design Center, based on her award-winning book. Since then, Catherine and I have worked on sales and marketing strategies for her new book, The Female Brand: Using the Female Mindset to Succeed in Business.
When I asked why Catherine chose to write this book, she said:
“I believe the most important brand you’ll ever market is Brand You. That’s why in my first book, UR a Brand!, I wrote about the branding process and how to brand yourself for business success, which is especially important for entrepreneurs to master. I wrote my new book — The Female Brand — on women and success for a very fundamental reason. We women have a lot of catching up to do. We’re not as good at personal branding as men are.”
