  The Mill Company was featured in the January 2008 issue of Architectural Digest
The Mill Company of Falls Church was selected to decorate the new home of political experts Mary Matalin and James Carville. Much of the space was designed with the couple’s frequent entertaining in mind. “In lots or arrangements, guests sit like ducks in a row, and people have to get up out of their chairs to let other people out.   Matalin and Carville chose to go with lots of bold color with their home. Matalin had a vision of orange, and orange mixed with red was the dominant color used throughout the house. “Ed and Bud never said no to me,” she recalls. ‘They never said ‘She’s wacky!’ Not even under their breath.
“I’m always proud to have people over,” Carville said. “After living here, it would be hard for me to live in a traditional house.” |
